Hi, I’m Brooke Collet I’m a third-year Graphic Design student at Leeds Beckett University, soon to graduate with a BA (Hons). Over the past five years, I’ve explored a wide range of design tools and techniques, developing the flexibility to adapt to any brief. I’m driven by curiosity and creativity—whether it’s experimenting with motion design, refining typography, or diving into completely new territory. I love turning ideas into visuals that communicate, connect, and leave a lasting impression.
Voice was a font that I created, and I also made a type specimen for. The aim of this font was to create something that can be seen and also heard. The main aim of this project was for this font to be used for a protest against the decline of Leeds nightlife.
LEED’S
This project was developed for the City of Leeds as a publication highlighting the places the city has lost over time. It was created to raise awareness about the ongoing changes within Leeds.
Protest Posters
This project was created to amplify community voices. I designed a series of posters to express public perspectives on the Leeds city centre and to raise awareness about the ongoing issue of local venues and businesses closing down.
Mind
This is the single cover created for the band Niph, a vibrant musical trio hailing from Leeds. Their sound is a dynamic fusion of lo-fi indie aesthetics, 90s hip-hop influences, jazz-infused chords, and catchy pop melodies—perfect for fans of alt-pop, lo-fi pop, and dance pop.
The band approached me to design the artwork for their new single, Mind. After listening to the track and holding a few collaborative meetings with the members to understand their vision, we developed this final piece together.
Haunted
This is another single cover I created for the band Niph, this time for their track titled Haunted. As with the previous song, I began by listening to the music to draw inspiration, then shared my initial style concepts with the band. After discussing their vision and ideas, I refined the direction and assembled the final artwork.
niph.
I designed a poster for a gig featuring Niph and Melodie 71, marking my first graphic design project for them. The poster was shared across multiple social media platforms and reached over 400 people.
Greenergy
I was approached by a videographer from Cleethorpes to design a series of icons for a health and safety video he was producing for Greenergy. He provided me with a list of the required health and safety topics, and I developed custom icons to represent each one.
Stevensons
This is a furniture shop based in Cleethorpes. They reached out to me to design two different-sized website banners for a sale they were hosting. The banners were also featured in the local newspaper, and leaflets were distributed to residents’ doors.
Little Lamb
This project was a collaboration with students from the Northern Film School. I chose to work on the film Little Lamb, a poignant story about a mother grieving the loss of her daughter. My role involved designing the film’s poster, creating the intro and outro credits, and producing 6-9 social media assets to support its promotion.
